 One of our goals at Lacies is to foster success in all our customers'
gardens and landscapes. We offer several services, ranging from
design assistance to tree planting, as well as guarantees that help to
ensure confidence in our customers.
Design Assistance and Plant
Selection
Our garden center associates frequently guide homeowners through the
sometimes overwhelming task of choosing plants for the landscape.
With so many fantastic plants available it takes some research to find
the right plants to suit the right places. From small scale
plantings, foundation plantings, flower bed design and tree selection,
our experienced staff is just what you need to get your landscape
project started right! Simply bring us the measurements for the
proposed planting area, pictures of the site and house, and be able to
provide some information about the sun exposure, soil condition and
other possible problem areas. If you require a full landscape
design and installation we can connect you with the right person for the
job at Valley Landscaping.
Tree and Shrub Planting
Many of our customers hire our installation crew to plant trees and
shrubs purchased from our garden center. We charge 50% of the
regular cost
of the plant to install it in your landscape and each plant is covered
by a
full
warranty.
For each installation we call Miss utility to have sites properly
marked. All installations are performed on Fridays.
Plant Guarantee
Lacie's warranties all regularly priced trees and shrubs planted by our
installation crew. Trees and shrubs planted by the homeowner are
given a 50% guarantee for one year. Those planted by Lacie's carry
a 100% guarantee for one year. Should a plant fail to survive
within one year we ask that it be brought in for diagnosis and
replacement consideration. Our guarantee cannot cover incorrect
planting or improper maintenance, acts of nature (pests, disease,
storms, drought, deer damage, etc.) or plants used in container
plantings. Lacies does not guarantee any perennials, annuals or
tropical houseplants.
Delivery of Mulch, Topsoil
and Stone
To residence of Christiansburg and Blacksburg, we offer
free delivery of mulches with a minimum purchase of 8 cubic yards.
To qualify for free delivery of topsoil and stone, a minimum purchase of
4 cubic yards must be met. Deliveries are scheduled for Fridays
and orders should be placed by Wednesday mornings to ensure delivery for
the week.
Container Plantings
Throughout the seasons we design and/or plant customers window boxes,
urns, you name it! You can drop your pots with us or stay
and help design them yourself. For small orders we can plant your
containers while you wait. For larger orders we ask that you leave
them with us and pick them up later at a convenient time. During
the holidays we can assemble arrangements of lush and festive greenery
to delight your front porch and home. |
